Jeanette was specifically selected by contemporary Jazz band Hiroshima after an extensive world wide search for a new lead vocalist. She was chosen for her emotive and versatile vocal styling as well as her other talented attributes.

 
 
Jeanette Clinger was signed to Sony/Epic records under the direction of Bobby Columby at Epic, as the band’s new lead singer and debuted on their next record "Providence". 
 
 
Featuring Jeanette’s silky smooth vocals, Hiroshima toured extensively promoting the album around the world garnering rave reviews and landing several singles off the record ("Cry of the Sea", “Island World”, and Stevie Wonder’s “Ribbon In The Sky”) in the top ten on Billboard, R&R and smooth jazz radio and coasted there for several months.
 
 
 
Jeanette was hand selected among some of the best singers in the world by Yanni to become one of his featured back-up vocalists on Yanni’s worldwide Tribute Tour and DVD video – which was filmed at the Taj Mahal in India, and the Forbidden City in China.  Her performances with Yanni placed her in front of kings, queens, emperors, and many wonderful people all over the world.
