Jeanette Clinger started her singing career at the tender age of three on television with her family, “The Clingers.  They went on to work with some of the biggest stars in the business like Bob Hope, Sammy Davis Jr., and Gene Kelly on touring circuits as well as guests on top variety shows of the time.  Jeanette grew up in front of the camera as well as in the recording studio.  She has starred in everything from television and radio commercials using her singing talent, musicals, made-for-television specials, sitcoms, infomercials, music videos, concert tours, movie sound tracks, and personal appearances.
 
Right out of high school, Jeanette landed a recording contract with CBS Records under Jeffrey Lions and Greg Pfeiffer, with her original band‚“1994, in which they recorded and toured with across the west coast.
 
Because of her gifted ability for harmonies and blending with other vocalists, Jeanette was chosen by Sheena Easton to perform as her back-up singer ands had the opportunity of touring all over the world with Sheena and her troupe for the span of 4 years.
 
Soon afterwards, Jeanette was specifically selected by the Contemporary Jazz group Hiroshima as their lead singer after an extensive world wide search due to her emotive  vocal style and versatility.  She signed to Sony/Epic Records under the direction of Bobby Columby, and premiered on their next album “Providence”.  Hiroshima toured extensively promoting the album around the world receiving top reviews and singles off the‚“Providence”CD, which include “Cry of the Sea”, “Island World”, and Stevie Wonder’s classic “Ribbon in the Sky”, all landed in the Top 10 on the Billboard and R&R charts, and coasted on those charts for several months.
 
Jeanette was hand selected among some of the best singers in the world by Yanni to become one of his featured back-up vocalists on Yanni’s worldwide Tribute Tour and DVD video which was filmed at the Taj Mahal in India, and the Forbidden City in China.  Her performances with Yanni placed her in front of kings, queens, emperors, and many wonderful people all over the world.
